Three decisions released
Today the Authority released three decisions on four complaints, with none of the complaints upheld. All three decisions related to radio broadcasts. One of the complaints complaint raised an issue regarding the acceptability of broadcasting offensive language, the Authority noted the importance of context and audience expectations in their determination. The other three complaints raised issues under the balance, accuracy and fairness standards regarding The Leighton Smith Show.
