RESEARCH AND REPORTS NGĀ RANGAHAU ME NGĀ PŪRONGO

Research

As part of our role to oversee and develop the broadcasting standards system, we commission and publish research.

Our research helps us understand community attitudes and expectations around broadcasting. It informs the application and development of broadcasting standards by making sure the decisions we make reflect our community’s diverse, contemporary attitudes and opinions.

It also helps broadcasters to understand what the community thinks and how the standards apply.

Our research documents can be downloaded from our website. All research is the sole property of the BSA (unless otherwise indicated).

Warning: Some of these reports and the summaries on this website contain language and content that some people may find offensive.

Statutory Reports

As part of our commitment to transparency and open government, we publish downloadable PDFs of our statutory reports – our Annual Reports, Statements of Intent, Statements of Performance Expectations – and reports of corporate information such as the Chief Executive's expenses.
