BSA releases latest decisions

The BSA today released decisions on eight complaints, none of which were upheld.

Five of the complaints were made under the Free-to-Air Television Code and three complaints were made under the Radio Code. These complaints dealt with a range of diverse issues, such as whether an item on Sunday about dairy farming was accurate and balanced, whether the broadcast of a foreign language film containing sexual content was in breach of the good taste and decency standard, and whether it was appropriate for a radio play about a forest fire to be broadcast around the time of the Christchurch Port Hills fires.
