Authority Releases Six Decisions
The Authority released decisions on six complaints today. The Authority upheld one of the complaints (where a warning had not been given ahead of the use of potentially offensive language in two episodes of a programme broadcast at 7:30pm), and did not uphold remaining five complaints. All of the complaints related to free-to-air television broadcasts. A number of different standards were raised in the complaints including good taste and decency, balance, accuracy and fairness.
