Six new decisions released

The BSA released decisions on six complaints today, which were not upheld. Two of the complaints were about allegedly offensive language in television and radio broadcasts. The first complaint concerned language used during the crime thriller series, Paula, and the second complaint was about the broadcast of an edited version of The Bloodhound Gang’s song, ‘Fire Water Burn’. The Authority did not uphold either of these complaints, finding that the broadcasts did not breach the good taste and decency standard and would not have gone beyond audience expectations in the context of the broadcast.
