Children’s Media Use Research 2020
Today released a report on research we which we jointly commissioned with NZ On Air into media use by children (aged 6-14) in New Zealand across programmes, music and games. The research results provide insights into how children’s media use has changed in the rapidly evolving media landscape. It explores where children go to find content, what they are watching and their attitudes and awareness of local NZ content. It also explores how kids manage challenging content, what upsets them, how they react, and what they, and their parents and caregivers, do to protect them from content that might harm them. The full report and a short summary are available here.
