BSA Releases three decisions
The Authority released decisions on three complaints today, with none of the complaints upheld. One of the complaints concerned the edited version of an episode of Love Island UK, aired on free-to-air television at 5pm. The Authority found that the episode did not breach the children’s interest standard given its edited form and target and likely audience. While the programme was found to contain mature themes that may not reflect values all parents/caregivers would endorse, the Authority considered it met the requirements of the G classification and was unlikely to cause harm at a level justifying intervention.
