Morning Report and Checkpoint. Programmes discussed aspects of "green" politics. The former discussion included interviews with representatives of the Alliance and Progressive Greens, and they were also represented on the Checkpoint item which, in addition, included a spokesperson from the Labour Party. In Cold Blood. Documentary exploring the similarities between three recent mass murderers referred to the use of a semi-automatic military style rifle by two of the murderers, and showed shots of a person using a fully automatic weapon.
