Radio Spectrum is part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (which includes the former Ministry of Economic Development) and manages New Zealand’s radio frequency spectrum, supporting wireless telecommunications and radio and television broadcasting.

Broadcasters are also required by the Broadcasting Act 1989 (s30A) to send an annual return to the BSA certifying their total revenue. You will find information about this in the section Broadcasting Levy.
